Lotus’s new car, the Lotus Evija, is already breaking numerous records. This all-electric and all-carbon-fiber British hypercar has a staggering 2,000 hp, making it the most powerful electric production car. It is also the lightest electric hypercar, at only 3,700 pounds. The Lotus Evija has a super unique aerodynamic design, letting air flow through inside the car to create downforce. This car can reach over 200 mph and 0 to 60 mph in under 3 seconds. The Lotus Evija can also reach 0 to 186 mph in 8.6 seconds, which is faster than the Bugatti Chiron, which takes 13.6 seconds. The Lotus Evijas will be limited to only 130 models and the range of the battery is 250 miles. The Lotus Evijia cost over $2.1 million and will start production in 2020.
