Freeze-ray vs Flamethrower

The backyard scientist has created a way to use liquid nitrogen to create a freeze ray. The freeze ray can freeze over objects very quickly. In the video, you can see frozen flowers smashed to bits after being frozen over.
This relates to engineering because it took many tries to find a way to get the liquid nitrogen gun right. This also relates because they did something unique and innovative with the two weapons.
