Festo’s Bionic Bots: Lifelike Robotic Animals

By: Shrey Sharma, Journalist

In mid-2018, scientists and engineers at Festo Corporate developed robotic animals. These machines are not the standard robot-like device, but created to accurately act and move like the animal it is made after. Every one of the joints and muscles are accurately replicated from the actual animal, creating an impressive replica. This relates to engineering because in order to create this, engineers had to design, code, and finally create this machine.
