The Overture Is Speed Hacking

Boom technology is a private company trying to bring back commercial supersonic flight. Their first aircraft is the Overture. The Overture has a smaller test model, the XB-1, which is one third the size of the Overture. The Overture is supposed to be able to maintain flying mach 2.2 which is 2.2 times the speed of sound for 10,000 miles. The Overture should have three engines and transport 55 passengers. There used to be commercial supersonic flight mainly the Concorde but it was removed as it caused sonic booms which caused many complaints and it couldn’t transport enough passengers to make profit. The overture should reduce the noise of the jet and transport more passengers than the Concorde.
