BattleBots is a TV show where teams of individuals build robots to compete with other bots. Teams build their robots with added weapons like axes on robot arms and horizontal and vertical spinning saws to disable and destroy opponents. In each round, two robots compete in a head-to-head battle to determine which advances to the next round. If both robots are neither dismantled or unable to move, a group of judges decide the winner based off of performance. The show displays the unique physique and structure of each competing robot and passion of the teams and engineers in their struggles and goal to reach #1. BattleBots uses engineering, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship to create an thrilling and enjoyable show, where audiences are on the edge of their seat, and robots are wrecked.
