Elephant Toothpaste is a chemical engineering experiment that is very fun to do and lives up to its name. Elephant Toothpaste has its name because of the way it looks when the reaction occurs. When you mix all of the ingredients together, it’s thickness and colors makes it look like toothpaste but it is so big that it looks like it is toothpaste meant for elephants, hence the name. But you don’t actually use it as toothpaste. Their are many different ways to make elephant toothpaste out of many different ingredients. Elephant Toothpaste is a very fun project to try.

The Elephant Toothpaste experiment is related to engineering because the chemical reaction is in the chemical engineering category, and chemical engineering is a type of engineering.
