WeWALK is a smart cane for people that are visually impaired. It can detect objects above chest level, and is compatible with apps such as Google Maps. Having a cane that is compatible with Google Maps can help a blind person very much because they wouldn’t need a to hold a phone to look for directions. There would also be less risk for them running into objects because the cane can detect objects above chest level. WeWALK costs $499.
