I have researched further into the topic of breakout boards, and I came across the term ‘arduino shield.’ I don’t quite understand the concept of these, but they seem important so I will come back to this topic another time. I also found a variety of other sensors that I can use as a back-up, if the conductive fur approach doesn’t work.
