After the setback with the last car, we decided to start anew. We drew up the latest design that should prevent the car from flipping. We widened the car, which will lower the center of gravity, making it harder to flip. We also didn’t want to repeat the mistake of the last car, so we made sure to leave ourselves a note to hammer in the wheels extra well. Most of the other design choices from the previous car remained the same. We are also adding a second eye screw to make the car steadier as it goes down the guide wire. Tomorrow, we will cut out the shape in a new block of wood.
