Today we worked on the launch controller. The launch controller is important because it is the only safe way to set of the model rocket engines. We made the wires about ten feet long to protect us from the possible explosion. All we did to make the controller was strip the wires at both ends and attach one end to the battery and the other to alligator clips that attached to the igniter. The rocket will set off when the wire that isn’t attached to the battery, the safety wire, touches the metal terminal o top completing the circuit. We hooked it up to the voltage meter and… It worked! Tomorrow we will be ready to launch!
