A Moped is like a type of motorized bike that is the safer version of a motorcycle. The bike’s price can range from $500-$1000 depending on the quality and the mph you prefer. Since a Moped is a particularly small vehicle, gasoline wouldn’t cost too much – a maximum of $15. In Virginia, you have to be at least 14 years old to obtain a Moped licence, and they cannot be driven on the highway. In my opinion Mopeds are a cheap alternative for transportation and as soon as I turn 14 I would love to have one.
This is related to engineering because here in our ESF class we are working on motorizing vehicles and work with lots of different types of engines.
