According to new research by Purdue University, plastic contains contents that can be transformed into a new form of fuel, not yet known much about. Since most of the solid waste from the World is plastic, it can be transformed to this new type of fuel made out of Polymers and naphtha.
Using the Process of distillation, turns into a chemical as its final stage, but must first be turned into small pellets. Also, according to the research group the fuel being converted every year would be enough to satisfy 4 percent of the market’s demand for diesel fuel. Hopefully, this new technology will become widespread and advance enough that it can one day convert most of the economy’s demand for diesel fuel.
