Researchers are looking for ways to treat eye injuries. Eye injuries are hard to treat and can have some very serious complications but sometimes there is little chance of making full recovery. A team from Queensland University have made new contact at also work as bandage for your eyes. According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology more than 20,000 people experience workplace injuries, which could cost them over $300 million a year. The eye bandage consists of cells with special wound healing properties known as limbal mesenchymal stroma cell. The search looks promising but they still need more time to have the contacts completed before treatments can be issued to the public. The contacts could be shown and be used in a couple of years.
