Many people in the world don’t have functional houses or houses in general. Either because resources are too expensive or just not obtainable in that part of the world. The best thing to do in this situation is to build a sustainable house using resources that are available. The expenses will approximately $80 and the time needed to build will be approximately 3 months. Some milestones include research, materials, building and competing. These are the major points of this project. Deliverable’s include competitions, and a possible change in housing. These things must be completed throughout the project in order so that we can stay on track and complete our goal.
This relates to engineering because our goal is to build a model of a sustainable house using the resources available in Afghanistan that is also off the grid.
