Fist Tech Challenge is a nationwide competition where groups of 10+ get together and build a robot designed to compliant certain tasks. For example, this year the robots need to scoops up balls to put them in a container as well as many more things that will be explained in this video:
Obviously the real thing doesn’t look like the video above. So I have put a video of one of last years matches from lasts year’s match, “Relic Recovery.”
Clearly these teams are some of the best but FTC is open to all.
This relates to engineering because all of these teams were required to use engineering in order to build and drive their robot. Each teams code and design is unique to them.
