For the past couple of weeks we have spent the entire time finishing the bases of the project. But we had a couple of changes to the design of the hovercraft like instead of a leaf blower we decided to use the engine of a vacuum cleaner, because it has more fire power and it cost nothing because the teacher gave it to use. So after using the engine we had to make a hole for where the engine was going to stay in place and push air into the curtain which will make it blow up in size and for it to move. For the engine to make enough air pressure it has to suck up the air around which causes a turbine to move very quickly and it can cut someones finger.So we had to make a shield next to the turbine, so it will not cut someones finger.
