Today is our last day working on our project. Today we soldered the last bit of wires, then we tested it to make sure it worked before we glued everything into place. It took us about 2 1/2 weeks to make and complete this product. We had some challenges with figuring out which places to connect and solder the wires. The wiring was tricky, because the wires are so small so it took a while to get the wires into the very small holes that the USB port had.
Before we put the battery’s in the battery pack to charge we had to make sure that they were dead so we could recharge them through the solar panel. Charging the batteries through the solar panel took a while and we didn’t know if we wired everything correctly until we tested the batteries to see if the batteries were charged and gave out any voltage.
