Phones

When did you buy your first phone? How long do you use your phone a day? Phones have been a big part of our life since they were invented. They are the best way of communication. Phones started as big and thick, but as the time moved it got thinner and smaller. Many people get their first phones usually in Middle School. Phones may have been invented for communication first. However, now they are used for many other reasons. They can be used for playing games, researching, using social media, texting, and many others.

The first phone was made in March 10, 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He made his first call to his assistant. The phones changed so many times since 1870s. So, how a mobile phone works is a phone converts your voice into an electrical signal, which is then transmitted as radio waves and converted back into sound by your friend’s phone.
