Our parts for our project finally arrived, we have made a few changes to our design plan. Instead of using the wheels we have ordered, we will be taking the base off of an already built robot, and using that as our wheels and base. We will be replacing the brain and the motors of the robot with our own materials. We will build a raised platform that we will attach the trash can onto.
Once we have attached the trash can, we will build a remote that will control the robot. We are still going to use Arduino to control the remote and robot. The wheels will work similarly to a tank, so in order to turn, one set of wheels stops, the other side will turn, which will turn the robot in that direction. We will not be using omni wheels, just regular wheels.
