The Terminator movies are becoming more realistic everyday with Sophia the robot became activated in April 19th, 2015 she was created by Hanson Robotics. Also with the help of Alphabet inc they were able to make the world bot talk and give the robot the ability to talk like a human . Also she became the first robot ever to get citizenship in the world . The country of Saudi Arabia gave Sophia her citizenship which makes them the first country ever to give citizenship to a robot.
It relates to engineering because the robot had to be built by engineers who needed to know how to create life like robot and it was able to make 64 facial expressions . Which the engineers how to make and to see if its more life like an to allow Sophia to talk and walk like a normal person. Due to her abilities Sophia has been a global phenomenon and is a guest on many famous talk shows.
