It was the end of an era when the auto company Stellantis ended production of the Challenger and Charger in their current gasoline-powered forms in December 2023.
Why? Because they started making electric cars and left muscle cars in the dust.
The last production year for these is 2023. Dodge has discounted some of its models, including Charger, Challenger, Hornet, Charger Daytona, and Durango, as it pushes forward to electrifying more new models. They are focusing on electric vehicles to meet evolving automotive trends.
