A new kind of electronic warfare is being developed to trick and confuse enemy weapons and targeting systems. NATO countries in Europe are getting this advanced self-protection tech to keep their frigates safe. Two Israeli companies just scored a contract to provide a cool Naval Decoy Control & Launching System (DCLS) for the new NATO frigates. Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Elbit Systems said that this maritime EW solution will have launchers that can be trained and stabilized, which means they can quickly and accurately launch decoys when needed.
