The 2025 Nissan LEAF, a compact electric hatchback, offers two models: the LEAF S with a 40 killo electrical storage device and 149-mile range and the LEAF SV PLUS with a 60 kWh electrical storage device and up to the 212 mile range, priced starting at $28,140. It features instant increasing speed, a low center for smooth handling, and a modern interior with big enough things carried by ship, space. The LEAF includes Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of safety technologies, and the SV PLUS adds ProPILOT Help. Charging options include Level 1 Level 2 and DC fast charging. While the Leaf is a budget-friendly EV it’s important to note that its range is lower than some competitors and uses the older ChaDeMo charging port this vehicle includes The well-grouped together and uniform textures help it avoid looking cheap. The gauge group features a large analog speedometer next to a 7.0inch digital readout that can be rearranged changed to show a variety of displays. The Leaf’s seats are comfortable for LaBoy; the big rear seat offers plenty of room for adults, too. Even though the Leaf’s back seat doesn’t create a flat load floor when folded, we found the things carried by a ship, etc ability to be among the best in its class. We fit seven carry on suitcases behind the back seat and a whopping 19 with the back seat folded. For comparison, the now-discontinued Chevy Bolt EV held five in its things carried by a ship, etc area and maxed out at 16 with its back seats stowed. The Niro EV which sports a more SUV like body style held little more things carried by a ship, in our testing, but the Leaf still is tops among electric cars. The 2025 Nissan Leaf offers a budget friendly entry into the electric vehicle market although its limited range and charging infrastructure considerations might be a factor for some buyers.
