The transparent solar panels work by directing Ultraviolet light and Inferred light to the edge of the panel were solar strips collect it. If you look very closely at it you will be able to see tiny black line, which is how it guides the light to the solar strips, but the lines aren’t noticeable. The prototype is at 1% efficiency but the creators think it can max out at 7% efficiency.
