Elon Musk’s AI startup has launched its newest model with some grand claims, including that it can outperform leading models from the U.S. and China. The deployment starts today for X Premium Plus users, who need to update their X app to access Grok 3’s features. Integrating real-time voice interactions is expected to enhance user experiences, making them more natural and efficient. On Wednesday, a new product called Deep Search was also announced, intended to serve as a “next-generation search engine.” Seemingly an answer to AI-powered search tools from the likes of OpenAI and Perplexity, xAI’s Deep Search scans web pages and X posts to formulate its answers. The rapid advancement of AI models like DeepSeek and Open AI highlights the fierce competition in the AI sector. Companies are racing to develop models that are not only more powerful but also more accessible to users worldwide.
