An idea thought up by many, but first created by Soft Bank Robotics, Nao is the first Humanoid Robot produced publicly. 

Ever since 2006, Nao has been evolving and he is still evolving as new technologies come to light. A big development of the robot occurred in 2015 when the University of South Wales explored all of the robot’s capabilities.

This project is related to engineering because to create the robot they had to brainstorm ideas and then execute building a robot that was similar to a human. To create voice recognition they had to use engineering. In the end, the whole project is submerged in engineering.
