Apple has created a new charging system for the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and the 8 plus. Also the AirPower works with the Apple watch Gen 3 and the newest version of the AirPods case. Apple is planning to release this product sometime in 2018. The charging pad needs to be plugged into a charging outlet to work, but other than that there is no more plugging in needed.  The charging pad is easy to use, just put your iPhone 8, 8 plus, or X on it and it will start charging. The AirPower uses an electromagnetic field to transfer power from it to your device. The AirPower helps so you do not to have multiple power cords just to charge all of your Apple devices at once.
