Why Shiny Pokemon Are Becoming More Common

Shiny Pokémon are a rare, recolored version of a normal Pokémon. They give no advantage the only reason why people spend hours collecting them is because of their rarity. The chance of someone randomly running into the wild, in most games, is 1/1892 which makes seeing one in the wild is an extremely rare occurrence. People who actively look for these shiny Pokémon are referred to as “Shiny Hunters.”

The problem is, as the games get older and more people to start playing them, the more shinies are in the game. Some people hack the game to make the shiny chances higher and some even spawn in hacked Pokémon which are drastically decreasing the rarity of shinies. One device that can be sold to anyone for about $20 is an example of how easy it is to get shiny Pokémon.

The “Switch Up Game Enhancer” is a device that was originally used to connect other gaming controllers such as a PS4 or XBOX controllers into the switch so you can use your favorite controllers on the Nintendo Switch, but it also has a set of “hacks” that it can perform. One of such hacks is the “Auto Egg Breeder” hack. What it does is use the controller that was paired to the Nintendo switch and put in specific inputs for it to be able to breed as many eggs as you want completely AFK. Anybody can use this hack and the hack keeps running until the hack is stopped or if your Pokémon storage fills up.
