For our project we will be using a solder. To use a solder you heat the tool up. After that you apply the solder to the wire. The reason you apply the solder to the wire and heat up the tool is because the tool will melt the solder on the wire and make the wires stick. Solder is also a conductor, so it does not interfere with anything that you need to combine. We will need the solder to mend the copper wire, which is connected to the super conductor to the Samsung charger USB.
