Our project is to make an electric skateboard that can controlled by a remote. The initial plan is to have the skateboard go in-between 15-20 miles per hour. We will be using a motor, speed controller, and battery. We will also use a transmitter and receiver, and these can be bought separately or in a pack from Amazon. We are going to use a a Li-ion (Lithium-Ion) battery. Although it is weaker than other, more expensive batteries, it has a longer life cycle, it is easier to handle, and it is a lot safer.
