3D printing chocolate is similar to 3D printing with plastic. Choc Creator lets people print drawings and small objects in chocolate. A computer program called “slicer” turns these designs into code that the Choc Creator can read. The printer will then print the chocolate layer by layer. People can customize and design what they’d like to print.
3D printing relates to engineering because we use something originally made for printing paper and changed it to print chocolate. In the future we could make changes to 3D printers and print other cool things.
